These terms apply to your use of the Can You Play? website and mobile app (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

The Service

Can You Play? is a free tool for organizing casual games and get-togethers and inviting people to them. We may change, add, or remove features at any time.

Your account

• You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
• Give accurate information, and only sign in with a phone number or email you control.
• You're responsible for activity on your account. Tell us right away at canyouplay.support@gmail.com if you think someone else is using it.

Inviting people

When you invite someone, you confirm that you know them and have a reasonable expectation that they want to hear from you about the game. Don't use the Service to send spam, bulk messages, or invites to people you don't know.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• harass, threaten, or impersonate anyone, or post anything unlawful or offensive;
• use the Service for advertising or commercial solicitation;
• try to access other people's accounts or information, or interfere with the Service;
• scrape, copy, or reverse-engineer the Service.

We may suspend or remove accounts that break these rules.

Text messages

If you opt in, we'll text you game invites, reminders, and confirmations. Message frequency varies with game activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel at any time, or HELP for help. Carriers aren't liable for delayed or undelivered messages. See our SMS program page for details.

Games and meetups

Can You Play? only helps people coordinate. We don't organize, host, supervise, or check the games, places, or people involved, and we aren't a party to any arrangement between users, including any costs or payments for a game. Taking part in any activity is at your own risk. Use good judgment, especially when meeting people you don't know well.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you put into the Service, like game details. You give us permission to store and display it as needed to run the Service, for example showing your game to the people you invite.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that it will always be available, error-free, or that every message will be delivered on time.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Can You Play? won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any injury, loss, or dispute arising from games, activities, or interactions between users.

Ending your use

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from My Account (or by emailing canyouplay.support@gmail.com). We may suspend or end access to the Service for anyone who violates these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If we make material changes, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, let you know in the app. Continuing to use the Service means you accept the updated terms.
